What you need to know:
What you will need on TTF (Twisted Timber Farms) at LCGC (Lee County Gard Club)events.
Wear good shoes for touring our mushrooms, ponds and gardens! Trails are maintained but watch for falling limbs. Sandy soil is slippery when wet. Mud boots are perfect. Bring gloves!
Please do not trample plants. Try to stay on dirt paths. Watch for plant markers.
While visiting our farm remember we have active beehives. They are gentle bees but be aware if you are allergic! We have no epi pen.
Please pick up any trash you see. No smoking cig because of the butts, chickens eat them. Vape ok.
No plundering or rustling. Don't take a cutting. Don't take a mushroom. In fact bring spawn/cuttings with you if you have extra, I like freebies and we can trade.
We have all the snakes, even corals. Scorpions. Spiders. No snake anti venom. No epi pens.
Poison ivy is everywhere come prepared. We have eradicated tons but it is here. Stay on paths!
Do not open any gates. Do not climb over any fences.
Unlevel ground and walking paths so watch your step. Dont step on the plants. Lighted night forest walks, trail heads marked by colored lights. Stay on paths.
Bring chairs, water and a camera! And we do have trail cams everywhere, so smile!
No dogs except service animals. We have free range chickens and dogs of our own.
Bring a whistle or we have some. Need help? Lost? Found morels? Blow and we will come running.
Leave no trace.
